Anderson, Vern SherrillOur loving and kind husband and father left this world on Sunday, June 3, 2007.
| His courage and patience through his cancer was an example to us all. Sherrill came into this world, the oldest of 5 brothers born to Vern H. and Elizabeth Anderson, on March 14, 1938 in Kanab, UT. Sherrill met Janna Johnson in Cedar City, UT while attending college. They were married June 28, 1963 in the Manti Temple in Utah. Sherrill worked as an accountant for many different companies as well as his own practice. Sherrill was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served a successful mission in Norway. He served as a Bishop and Ward Mission Leader among many other positions for the church. He leaves behind his wife Janna; children, Richard (Tiffany), Kendell (Michelle), Scott (Tara), Kari (Devon), Lori (James), and Kathy (Treven); 15 grandchildren with one on the way; and three brothers. We know that he is rejoicing in seeing those who went before him. There will be a viewing for family and friends on Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Allen's Funeral Home, 1130 S. Horne in Mesa. Sherrill's funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Mesa North Stake Center, 933 E. Brown Rd in Mesa. There will be a viewing for family and friends before the service from 9:00-9:30 a.m. Interment will be at Mesa City Cemetery.
